Mary Aranas & Chris Loebsack Saturday &/Or Sunday, August 7 & 8, 2010 These workshops take you from the ground up... Saturday's workshop lays a solid foundation for progressions on Sunday. Students are encouraged to attend both workshops for the full AcroYoga experience! **** #1 AcroYoga Foundations with Mary Aranas & Chris Loebsack Saturday, August 7, 2010 Time: 10:30am-1:30pm Cost: $35 ($60 for both workshops) This Basics #1 workshop provides a safe environment to explore trust, connection and playfulness. The class experience will combine elements from Yoga, Acrobatics, and Thai Massage, and can include: asana sequences, partner yoga, assisted inversions, basic partner acrobatics, therapeutic flying and Thai massage. After enjoying a sample of the many elements of the practice, students will have first-hand experience of AcroYoga. Building from a firm foundation ensures a structure upon which so much more becomes possible in the way of beauty, creativity, and pleasure. All are welcome... and as always, no partner necessary. **** #2 Moving Up with Mary Aranas, with Matt Giordano (assistant) Sunday, August 8, 2010 Time: 10:30am-1:30pm Cost: $35 ($60 for both workshops) Build on your foundation of AcroYoga with this more in-depth workshop that explores counterbalances and more therapeutic & acrobatic flying skills. We will touch upon acrobatic transitions, and get a taste of where this practice can go in paired flying and group pyramid sequences. This workshop will be assisted by Mary's acrobatic partner, Matt Giordano, and offers a perfect complement to Saturday's workshop for those ready to challenge themselves!
