| Description: | This workshop will help prepare you for labor, childbirth and early motherhood by learning how to trust your body, the energy of the birth process and your instincts as a mother. This workshop is useful as an adjunct to traditional childbirth education and is not meant to replace a more comprehensive program.
In this workshop we will cover: Physiological and emotional stages of pregnancy, labor, childbirth and the post-partum period Cultural aspects of labor and birth Attachment and bonding with your newborn Use of interventions and how to make educated choices Pelvic bodywork that helps the baby into a good position for an easier labor and birth Positions for labor and birth Pain coping practices Explore early motherhood and how to apply yoga off the mat into your daily lives as a family. |
