About NYYTA

The mission of the New York Yoga Teachers Association (NYYTA) is to create a professional Yoga organization that promotes and supports the teachings of all Yoga traditions.

Over the past few years NYYTA has evolved into a broad network of Yoga teachers, students, studios, and providers of Yoga related goods and services.

We are an organization of volunteers who share a vision of creating a vibrant Yoga community in NYC. We hope this website will be of enormous value to all Yoga practitioners & related businesses.

NYYTA is incorporated under Section 402 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law in the State of New York.
